Glass making is a joyful union of the technical and the creative with a large dollop of perseverance. I am largely self-taught, but offer thanks to patient friends and tutors over the past twelve years that I have been happily engaged and obsessed with glass.
I live and work in the Mendip Hills. Inspiration comes from many sources – from broad vistas to the tiniest detail of a leaf. Expressed in pattern and colour; rhythm and form.
My aim is always to do the very best with what can be a tricky and frustrating medium, especially if one experiments. My overriding mantra is quality and originality. I really enjoy commission work – feel free to contact me if you have something in mind.
