Lockdown affected our members in contrasting ways. Many were inspired by the tranquility, the light and the stillness while others needed the therapeutic benefit of creating to help them keep to a routine and feel productive.
We have called our modest exhibition “Inspiration in Isolation” to showcase the work our talented Guild members have created during Lockdown. Each piece will be accompanied with some words from the maker to give us some insight into the inspiration behind it.
“Inspiration in Isolation” will showcase during the Somerset Arts Weeks commencing on September 16th 2021 and will be in the front section of our Wells Gallery at 23A Broad St. We will, of course, still be open for our usual treasures throughout the exhibition.
