Arts in the Garden

The Somerset Guild of Craftsmen and the staff at Bridgwater Colleges lovely Walled Garden in Cannington are working together to present Arts in the Garden from 23^rd to 28^th June. This event will feature some of the best of Somersets makers with a wide range of skills and techniques resulting in an opportunity to wander these beautiful gardens whilst enjoying at close hand the expertise and innovation of the members of the Somerset Guild. There is a plant shop and a new coffee shop which has opened this year.

The exhibition will include sculpture and garden pottery around the gardens and ceramics amongst the exotic planting in the hothouse. Work more suited to an interior space will be staged in the architecturally stunning Clifford Hall, part of the old Priory buildings.

With a plethora of colour and shape, whether it be flowers and trees or sculpture and textiles these two organisations were

"Made for each other."

Please note that the Clifford Hall will be closed to the public on Friday 26^th June.
