Auction of unique work by Guild Members in aid of St. Margaret's Somerset Hospice

 

75 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

 

The Somerset Guilds 2008 Summer Exhibition is being held once again in Nynehead Church near Wellington from 1^st to 3^rd August, where work from a number of Guild makers will be exhibited.

 

Nynehead Church itself is of special architectural interest and is beautifully set in the Grounds of Nynehead Court. The Exhibition will be open from 10.00am until 5.00pm over three days. Light refreshments are available and visitors will be welcome to wander around the lovely gardens.

 

As a special event for our 75^th year we are holding a Jazz Evening and Charity Auction on Saturday 2^nd August in aid of St Margarets Somerset Hospice.   A number of Guild makers have very generously donated a piece of their unique work to be auctioned in aid of this very worthwhile local charity. The evening starts at 6.00pm when jazz will be playing in the Gardens, there is also a hog roast with full salad buffet and a glass of wine included in your ticket.  The Auction will be held mid evening and all the items are on display throughout the Exhibition and on the night.
